Summertime Sadness

 When the winds sway

Where the breeze lay

In the sultry day

Each time I feel

It hits deeper and deeper

Cracking open till I have none

Were the temporary moments of joy

Worth permanence of pain

Longing, it's obsessing

Pitter and patter

Getting a rudder 

Weakened and brittle

Aimless you fly

Brainless you love

Winter dew is Summer's scorch

I don't know now

If it's my over thinking

Or if it's the heart fluttering 

Seeking that thou est lost

Forever and ever

Folks perchance it's

Summertime sadness

Everywhere where you go

Your marks overarch

And I grace your remains

Call it my sanity

Now I'm depravity
